ASLA Council

The Australian School Library Association Inc. (ASLA) was founded in 1969.

Each member association is represented by three councillors at the National Council, which meets face-to-face once a year and by audio teleconference, at least, three times a year.

The decision making of ASLA is delegated to National Council, which consists of the Executive Committee:

  • President, Rob Moore
  • Vice-President, (Association Relations), Marie Clark
  • Vice-President, (Association Operations), Isobel Williams
  • Treasurer, Chris Kahl
  • Secretary, Jan Barnett
  • Past President, Anette Ainsworth

and the Member Association Councillor (one representative from each member association).

The Immediate Past President or President Elect, Executive Officer and the Access Editor are ex officio members of the National Council.
