To qualify as a Fellow, a member must be able to demonstrate:

  • a minimum of five years membership of ASLA (may include years in member association of ASLA prior to 2011);
  • participation in, and outstanding, sustained voluntary contribution to the Association;
  • professional development contribution; and
  • current or previous employment in the Australian school library and information sector.
Prospective Fellows should complete the nomination form and provide supporting evidence.

Fellows may use the post-nominal FASLA after the Fellowship is confirmed.

Financial members of ASLA will be notified by ASLA office that they may be eligible for a fellowship. Nominees will be asked to confirm their eligibility by submitting the nomination form and providing evidence to support their self-nomination. Closing date: 30 April 2015
