ASLA XXIII Biennial Conference 28 September to 1 October 2013 at the Hobart Grand Chancellor, Tasmania.

The theme for the conference is - Curriculum Experience: Connect, Integrate, Lead
Registration is now open for the ASLA XXIII Biennial Conference
Early bird rates close 30 June 2013.
With a focus on curriculum, delegates will be able to make connections within and across learning areas by building expertise in the integration of technologies, literacies and literature. Build leadership skills to make innovative and informed curriculum connections in your school.
Connect: Keynote address: Professor Barry McGraw (ACARA). This strand builds understanding and makes critical connections with the Australian curriculum. Make connections across learning areas and explore the general capabilities to inform pedagogical practice.
Integrate: Keynote address: Dr Mandy Lupton (QUT). This strand focuses on inquiry learning; information, communication and emerging technologies, literacy and digital literacies and challenges delegates to consider new and innovative ways to deliver the curriculum.

Lead: Keynote address: Professor Erica McWilliams (QUT). This strand explores and builds pedagogical understandings to harness leadership capabilities to make a difference and inspire and guide you in your professional growth.

Closing Keynote: Hamish Curry (Education Manager, State Library of Victoria). This closing keynote will bring together some of the ideas from the conference, as well as experiences from programs at the State Library of Victoria and other institutions to explore what it means to integrate technology and pedagogy effectively.
