ASLA offer a variety of membership options for applicants residing outside of South Australia*Our current membership prices are shown on the application form.


*South Australian residents receive membership through the School Library Association of South Australia (SLASA).

SLASA is a Member Association of the Australian School Library Association Inc. If you are a member of a Member Association you are also a member of the Australian School Library Association (ASLA).

Membership types

  • Personal 
    • Professional Membership
    • Student Membership (evidence of enrolment required)
    • Retiree Membership
  • Small School Membership  (1-3 staff bundle)
  • Large School Membership  (4-6 staff bundle)
  • Corporate Membership

Membership is for a one year period from the date of joining.

  • One electronic copy of each edition of the national journal, ACCESS.
