Library Webs present an online educational research service providing an Internet Library of approximately 80,000 carefully selected links. AustLit: The Australian Literature Resource and Queensland University of Technology have worked collaboratively in children’s literature since 2008. AustLit is a not-for-profit education and literature resource that aims to be the definitive virtual research environment and information resource for Australian literary, print, and narrative culture scholars, students and the public. AustLit is a collaboration between the National Library of Australia and a network of Australian Universities, including Queensland University of Technology (QUT). QUT supports AustLit and its aims through the work of Research Assistants in the School of Cultural and Language Studies in Education. The School of Cultural and Language Studies works with tertiary students to develop an understanding of education in its broadest social, cultural and historical context, and has contributed to and enhanced, through research and provision, the Children’s Literature Research Community within AustLit.
