ASLA 2011

Registration

Registrations have closed to allow time to provide catering numbers to the respective venues.

Full registration entitles a participant to:

  • attend the Welcome Reception and opening of the Trade Exhibition,
  • attend all keynote and conference sessions,
  • receive a conference satchel,
  • admission to the Trade Exhibition,
  • morning tea and lunch,
  • wireless Internet access.

Single day registration entitles a participant to:

  • attend keynote and conference sessions on the chosen day,
  • receive a conference satchel,
  • admission to the Trade Exhibition on the day for which registration has been paid,
  • morning tea and lunch on the chosen day,
  • wireless Internet access.

Note: The association is required to collect Goods and Services Tax (GST). Fees include GST.
Full registration - * member standard $ 605.00
Full registration - non-member standard $ 715.00
Single day registration - $ 220.00 (Applies to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
Full registration - presenter rate $ 371.25 (Applies to presenters whose presentations have been accepted by the conference program committee)
Single day registration - $ 198.00 (Applies to presenters whose presentations have been accepted by the conference program committee)

* Member rates apply if you are, or your organisation is, a current financial member of the Australian School Library Association (ASLA), Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) or School Library Association of New Zealand Aotearoa (SLANZA).

Optional extras:

Conference dinner - Harbour Cruise, Sunday 2nd October 2011, 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm - $130 per person [Note: Transport will be from the conference venue and then return participants to designated accommodation locations.]
Themed dinner, Monday 3rd October 2011, 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm - $ 59.95 per person [Note: As Monday is a public holiday, the committee decided a dinner on site would be convenient for delegates who choose to stay on site and those who may wish to participate in a light-hearted evening.]

b) Off-site in Darling Harbour, North Sydney and Lane Cove. These accommodation arrangements are being transacted by Ozacomm Pty Ltd on behalf of the conference. Rates do not include breakfast. For delegates choosing to stay off-site a bus pick up and drop off will be scheduled in the morning and evening via a set route to and from the conference venue. You will be asked to indicate if you will be requiring this service when you register.

Cancellations - Accommodation (on site)

  1. A full refund, less a cancellation fee of $50, will be made on those received before 31 July 2011
  2. A refund of 50% of the accommodation fee will be made on cancellations received between 1 August and 31 August 2011
  3. No refund will be made after 31 August 2011
  4. All refunds will be paid after the conclusion of the conference.

Cancellations - Conference registration

  1. A full refund, less a cancellation fee of $100, will be made on those received before 31 July 2011
  2. A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made on cancellations received between 1 August and 31 August 2011
  3. No refund will be made after 31 August 2011
  4. All refunds will be paid after the conclusion of the conference.
