ACCESS is published four times a year, in March, June, September and November, in a digital format. It is read by teacher librarians, librarians, academics, library technicians and library support staff in primary and senior schools in all Australian states and territories, in government, private and independent sectors. 

ACCESS provides an open forum for educators and researchers who are concerned with issues arising from digital literacy and school librarianship  Major foci include collaborative curriculum development, inquiry-based learning, information technology and its integration into learning/teaching programs, information management, information literacy and literature.

ACCESS is provided to ASLA members as part of the benefits of membership.

Back Issues of ACCESS

Back issues of ASLA's ACCESS journal are available now on Pandora.  The National Library of Australia is digitising the periodical holdings. ASLA is working with them to ensure that ACCESS will be available through these holdings.  Back issues older than 12 months may be accessed online via Pandora. Newer issues are available only in the physical library via a dedicated computer. 

Access to ASLA's publication in the Pandora Archive is facilitated in two ways: via the Library’s online catalogue: Access / Australian School Library Association - NLA catalogue link and via subject and title lists maintained on the PANDORA home page.
