ASLA Early Career Teacher Librarian Award 2023 This national award, sponsored by Britannica Digital Learning, recognises and honours an Australian Teacher Librarian in their first five years of teaching, who has made an outstanding contribution to their school community and potentially beyond. This award acknowledges an early career Teacher Librarian for their high level of achievement in professional knowledge, practice and engagement they have made a positive impact on teaching and learning in their school. Nomination for the Award Principals, professional colleagues and members of the school community are encouraged to nominate their Teacher Librarian for this award. The Nominator does not need to be a member of ASLA, however, the nominee must be a member of ASLA. The nominee must be a resident in Australia, have a recognised Teacher Librarian qualification and be in the first 5 years working as a qualified Teacher Librarian.
