This webinar examines Australia's social media ban for young people under 16, now approximately three months into implementation. We'll explore how the legislation is unfolding in practice, early observations of its impact on youth wellbeing and behaviour, and what schools are seeing at the coalface. Participants will gain insight into the challenges young people are navigating, such as alternative platform migration and social connectivity concerns. This informative session equips librarians with a deeper understanding of the ban's real-world effects, enabling them to better support young people through informed conversations and appropriate resources during this significant digital shift.
